Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step Installation - 2006 Freightliner Sprinter- Video
Today on our 2006 Sprinter, we'll be installing the Lippert RV Electric Sliding Step, part number LC285306. We'll go ahead and review the operation. With the RV battery power on and the door switch on, we'll simply open up the screen door and it will extend the step, also turning on the step illumination light. Then when we close the door, it will retract the step. Now we'll go ahead with our install. To begin our install, we'll first need to remove the old or manufacturer's step. To do this, we'll start by removing the old electrical. We'll remove the 4-pin plug by pulling back on the lock connector and then separating the two connections. more
